Quick update on Kylie

This is just a very quick update! We took Kylie last night to get the cast but the wrong Dr was there (one that didn't have very much experience casting) and he was busy so he told us to come back tonight and the one who does the casting would be there, well, we got there and he wasn't there again (I can't remember why) but they xrayed it again and its looking good, so they gave us the choice of leaving the splint on or putting a cast on. The PA who works for the Ortho dr said both would do the job, so we decided to leave the splint on so we could take it off once in awhile to at least give her a good bath and stuff like that. He re-wrapped it in bright yellow and she's so excited with it! She kept saying yellow! =) He also gave us a roll of green so that when we re-wrap it we can change it...she's also thrilled with that!

Good night...I promise, I'll get some pictures on in a few days!

Singing with Kylie

This was too funny and I'm afraid I'll forget how it went, so I wanted to blog it right away!
Jonathan bought them a CD with Sunday School songs on it last Saturday. We've just played it in the car while we drive, so she's not heard it for HOURS or anything. She's since learned most of the song I've Got the Joy, Joy, Joy. So, today she told me "Sing, Jesus" I thought she wanted to sing Jesus Loves Me, since that is another one on there...but then she said, no...so I started singing I've Got the Joy, Joy Joy...down in my heart...(I'm sure everyone knows it) well, at the end it goes, down in my heart...

Me: Down in my heart
Kylie: today (She ment to stay)
Me: Down in my heart
Kylie: no, today
Me Down in my heart to stay. (end of song)
Kylie: today, there ya go.

Like I didn't know it -- lol!

Boyds Bear Country

I'm sure you're all tired of vacation pictures that are a few weeks old. I really wish I would have taken the time to keep up with it while we were there, I'm feeling overwhelmed by it all now. That's why its taken me to so long to get it up, plus all the other things going on. =) While in Gettysburg, we also visited the HUGE Boyds Bear Store. I love Boyds and have a few of them, so this was extra special. We had about an hour before it closed but had a fun time looking at all the displays.
two of the cutest bears in the store! =)This is sign was under cashier's counter.

Updates

Sorry for the lack of blogging here the last few days. I've been extra busy getting everything caught up. It seems when it rains it pours. Kylie & Kamryn have both been extra fussy lately, and I find myself just going between the two of them for a better part of the day! We took Kylie to the peds office tonight and they took another xray. It looks like she has a green stick fracture. If you are not familiar with that, its more bent than snapped in half. He is going to put a cast on Thursday evening and she'll have it for about 4 weeks. Over all she is doing great! She's learning to eat, write and do stuff with her left hand. Also she's getting used to not sucking her thumb, but once in awhile will suck the left one. Korey has been a real trooper though all this. I feel bad, sometimes he gets left out of all the drama that goes on but he's such a happy boy!

I have some pictures but I'm on the wrong computer so I'll try to get those on here tomorrow if I get a chance! I just mostly wanted to thank everyone for their prayers. I could feel them! Kamryn also slept all night the two nights we were dealing with all this. I know that was God! She's not been sleeping though the night again for a few weeks, I think she's going though a growth spurt or something! Well, I'm finished with my late supper, so off to bed I go!

Kylie

Eating ceral with daddy after we got home from the hospital

I'm taking a break from vacation pictures, to let you know Kylie broke her arm. She fell when we were in PA, but we thought it was ok then, b/c she was still using it. But tonight she fell on it again when she triped over her own feet. And it just wasn't looking right, so we took her. After a not so good ER visit for me and Jonathan (I'll spare you the details, but if you live in South Texas, don't go to KNAPP ER), Kylie did great and they splinted it. She was not happy with it on. She keeps asking us to take it off, but we have to take her to an orthopedic Dr soon. I just want to publicly thank the Lord everything went smoothly (for the most part!) Special thanks to Pastor Mike for all his encourgment and prayer! One of the worst and probably the hardest thing for her is that that is the thumb she sucks.

Gettysburg,PA

We have hundreds of pictures from Gettysburg, but here are just a few. Jonathan took a lot of really nice scenery ones, I might do a post just of some of the best ones of those. I had been to the battlefield before, and in my option it all looks the same, but Jonathan had never been there and he loves history, so he had an awesome time! The trees were so beautiful! We were there the perfect week. The day after we left, my parents woke up to a frost!
Our little solider. (We tried to put it on Korey but he didn't like it!)

Hershey, PA

Production for the day Eating her Hershey Bliss candyGetting ready to dig into his ice cream!

Harrisburg, PA

On Tuesday of our vacation week, we went to Harrisburg to see the Capitol building of PA! It was a perfect day of weather! We enjoyed it a lot. After that we went to Hershey Chocolate World.

Inside either the House or Senate

My birthday & my girls

I'm redeeming the time while I'm up with Kamryn at 3AM to blog! =) This week has been busy so far and I'm just not finding the time I'd like to blog! =) I'm still not unpacked. I've decided this family has way too many clothes!

Monday was my birthday. Jonathan arranged things so he could take me out! It was so fun! We went shopping at the Outlets, and then to Chili's for dinner, and then to WalMart for groceries. Thanks to Joshua for coming on short notice to watch the kids and to Ron for working 4am on Tuesday. =)

My roses & card

While at the outlets, I found these darling little dresses for the girls. Even though as I child, I hated dressing like my little sister, I LOVE doing that to mine. =) And they are too little to know the difference, so I'll take advantage of it so when they get older and don't want to, it'll be ok! They did such a good job posing! Kylie is starting to like to do this again, YEAH! The other day she was standing by the mop that was in the kitchen leaned up against my bookshelf, and said, "mommy, picture." So I took it w/ my phone...a little while later she did the same thing, and she was holding on so cute to it and said, Mommy, where phone? picture!

Kamryn turned 3 months while we were gone last week, but this is the best picture of her.

We're home

We got home last night around 11PM! It was a great vacation! Thanks to all my family who came to see us while we were there! I'll try to get some more pictures posted soon. It was such a busy time, and Korey was cutting teeth and was cried everytime I left the room just about. Kamryn also was fussy and wanted held all the time! Plus we were so busy seeing things and people that there wasn't much time for blogging! The kids are all in bed sleeping, so I think that's where I'm headed too!

Family Pictures

We went to Bedford area today for a fall family photo shoot. It was cold and getting dark so we didn't stay long, so they didn't turn out as good as I hoped but at least we got a few! The new family one is to the left on the sidebar. If its warmer and we have time tomorrow we might try again somewhere else.

Sarah & Lynne Nevseta singing a great special

I'm finally taking some time to upload some pictures from the last few days! They have been very busy =) Korey is cutting teeth and has been attached to my hip for the last two days, so I've not had to many minutes to myself! Kylie is loving all the extra attention and has bonded well with Grandma & Pappy. Kamryn is also thriving from all the extra arms to hold her! The church was in a weekend Revival with AWC, the services were good & refreshing. Wesley, Jonathan's brother came to see us. Also all my family (that could make it) came for dinner on Sunday! It was so fun! Thanks everyone for coming to see us! I have so many pictures, I couldn't decide which ones to put on here.

Its been awhile since I posted any great deals I've gotten, but since I'll be traveling today, I thought I'd post this!

Prayer Request

I just wanted to ask you all to pray for us on Saturday. We are flying to PA for a week of vacation. Please pray specifically that:
  • The kids are good. Kamryn has been pretty fussy again the last few days and won't take a pacifier, and get frusterated when she can't get her thumb. Korey is cutting teeth again, and Kylie is just 2! With an attitude to match. =)
  • Our flights are good and on time.
  • That we get all the things done in the next two days that we need to do!
  • That Jonathan will be able to get off early today and tomorrow (he's gone and will be going in very early these days).

We are so looking forward to seeing all our family and friends there!! Keeping checking back for lots of updates and pictures next week. We have tons of things planed! And my parents got us a new camera for our anniversary/birthdays! We are excited to use it and will be taking TONS of pictures!

Korey needed a 'milk' break from these picture taking adventures
taking another break

Kamryn

this is one of my favorite pictures of Kamryn. She has the same blue eyes are Korey. But they really show up here.
