Grandma's visit

I mentioned earlier how thankful we were (are) that Jonathan's mom was able to come visit us for a little over a week to help with the kids and stuff when Kamryn was born, here are a few pictures from her visit! Friday night we all went to Dona Tota's in McAllen for supper! This was extra exciting because this restaurant chain is only in Mexico until now!!! I have to admit, we all greatly enjoyed our food ~ but Korey won the prize!! He devoured his gordita and even ate part of grandmas!

Eating her gordita

Just chillin'!

Don't you wish your life was this hard!!

More pictures of Kamryn

I'm finally getting a few moments add some more pictures of the past week. Its hard to believe that Kamryn will be a week old tomorrow! Its been a really busy week, but fun too! (well, not the being up at night part, I'll have to get used to that again.) I have a couple other posts to do today too, so hopefully I'll get them all done! =)

Kamryn Danielle

She's finally here!! Kamryn was born at 3:36 AM on July 14th. She weighed 6.12 lbs and is 19 1/2 inches long. We got home yesterday and everyone is trying to get adjusted to her! Kylie thinks she's the greatest thing on the earth but Korey's not too sure about her yet! Yesterday he was pretty hostile, but this morning he actully gave her a kiss! (a new skill for him that so far he only shares with his daddy) We are enjoying Grandma being here! The kids act like they've known her forever and Jonathan & I are enjoying being spoiled as well!! She's cooking us all our favorite meals and desserts! (Chipped beef gravy, cherry cheesecake, potato soup, chicken pie....) I have more pictures to add later but for now these are what I have time to upload! We were hoping to have internet access at the hospital when we had time to upload a bunch, but they didn't have it so that's why its so long that I've updated!

Almost a July 4th baby!

Ok, since Wednesday ended up being so routine ~ Thursday was WILD!! Jonathan got called to work, and I had a dr's appointment in the morning, so Uncle "WA" (Joshua) came to babysit Kylie & Korey. (Oh, before I forget, this is too cute: I told Kylie that Wa was coming. She said "Wa coming. Wa Cool!!" ) Since I've been measuring smaller, for the past month I have to spend 20-40 minutes on the monitor so they could track her movement & heart rate. She's always stubborn and won't move too much when I'm there, but eventually, she wakes up and shows them! So, yesterday, she was determined to take a nap! Nothing was gonna change that. =) So, the midwife decided I had to go to Harligen Medical Center to have an ultrasound to check her weight and more monitoring! To make a really long story short, the Dr wanted to induce me today so we almost had a July 4th baby!! But I convinced them that I really didn't want to have this baby yet, if she was not in danger, so they let me come home! She is perfect and moved the whole 2 hours I was there! =) Seriously, though, she could come anytime, so PLEASE, help us pray that she holds off just ONE more week!! My mother in law will be here by Thursday evening, and anytime after that is great!

In other news ~ its raining today! Jonthan is working, so we really didn't have any big 4th of July plans anyway! We are so thankful for the rain!! Its been several months since we've had rain here and everything is so dry. Another plus it makes the temps lower too!

I should go and get some work done! =) I told the nurses, I might be back this weekend, for all the work I want to, but my 'dr husband' wisely vetoed that! =) So, we're just chillin' today! Well, I have a few things I want to get done, but I won't be doing crazy stuff! =)

Hope you have a great 4th!
