Kylie got a box!!

Kylie got a box from Grandma Fetzer today!! I knew it was mostly for her (minus a few candle tarts for me!! yeah!!) so I opened it and let her get stuff out!
"WOW" is what she said when she opened it!!

She got side tracked with MY candles so I had to show her the clothes but then she got excited about the 1 jumper and put it on!! She only got it to her waist as you can see in the picture below. She also got side tracked with the mop! She was doing pretty good with it...so maybe I'll start letting her 'help' me!

New tooth & new words!

Sorry, I don't have any NEW pictures today. We've been too busy! But I did want to write about these few fun things before I forget them!

  • Korey is getting a new tooth on top!! Maybe two, I can only see one right now but the other side looks swollen a little bit too.
  • Korey is very good now at sitting up on his own. (from a laying position)
  • Korey is finally starting to really want real food!! I never have given him much baby food b/c he just never seemed ambitious enough to eat it! But this past week, I tried harder b/c he's drinking tons of bottles! I also got ambitious and made some home made baby food. I had some left over carrots & potatoes from Sat. night and just put them in my blender, it turned out perfect & he loves it!! So, I have been trying it with other things and so far its worked out great! Last night he PIGGED OUT!! He had a helping of lima beans, orange jello (two helpings - remember they are baby size helpings!) and some chicken, rice, & lima bean mix I fixed last night!! I put his pjs on and he instantly fell asleep! LOL Only to wake up a few hours later wanting another bottle!
  • Kylie's new phrases are: Where? (in the sweetest voice with both hands out & upturned!) But she says it all backwards...if she wants her shoes she says "Shoes. Where?" Monday night we had to go to walmart and they both were sleeping so we took turns staying outside w/ them. While Jonathan was in there Kylie woke up and said "Daddy. Where?" I told her in Walmart, to which she replied, "OK"! Yesterday we stayed home from camp meeting to recuperate from the weekend. I promise I don't think I've ever been so tired in MONTHS! And Kylie was so tired since she didn't take very good naps on Monday. I got her to go to sleep around 10 AM and we didn't wake up til 11:40AM!! It was wonderful, only then she didn't want to sleep in the afternoon but did go to bed easy for me!! Anyway, she was laying there with me and had 'nana (she changed its name again, but her blanket) and pooh with her of course. She gave both of them to me and said, "Nana, pooh" and went to get down, I said "where are you going?" "Shower!"

Well, I need to go get this day started! Its cold here today (45 degrees when Jonathan left). Its supposed to warm up to at least in the low 70s! It was in the 90's on Monday & it was HOT but so nice!! I was loving it!!

More pictures!

I figured out the battery problem...each time you go to recharge them I needed to unplug the charger from the wall...now I have charged batteries!! =)
My kids were THRILLED last night when their daddy came home! (Mommy was too!!) They had not seen him since Tuesday!! With his class & work schedule he was coming home & leaving while they were still in bed. Kylie especially was missing him. And showing it mostly in the form of misbehaving. After a good supper of Roast, Potatoes & Carrots we enjoyed our evening together!! Kylie's attemps at dressing herself!Mr. Happy Guy!!Dressed in matching outfits

My silly Kylie!

These pictures are per request of Grandma Lynn. I was talking to her on the phone the other day while Kylie was getting her purse & ba-ba (baby) and she wanted pictures on the blog!! So here ya go! These aren't even the funniest way she holds her purse -- sometimes she has to keep her whole arm up to keep it on her shoulder! (oh, btw, excuse the messy hair! It was morning & I'd not yet combed it! smiles!!)

Updates!

Wow - finally some pictures! These are not the greatest because they are from my phone. I have been having trouble with my camera batteries. I'm not sure what's up with them but they seem to never be charged! =) Smile!

We've been busy with it seems like just getting through the days. Jonathan's been doing great in his class! I'm so proud of him. His last test scores were 95% and 82%!!
The kids have also reached their 'month birthday milstones'. Kylie is 20 months & Korey is 8 months. They both are improving in all areas!! =)
This morning I heard Korey very happy at 6AM in his bed. I had been woke up by a 'critter' noise and was wondering why Korey was up and HAPPY!?!?! I went to look at he was sitting up chewing on a sock!! He's still hasn't gotten the hang of crawling. He tries but can't quit get it all together! He hops like a frog! =)
Kylie's vocabulary is increasing every day!! And words are being said in more the right places! She's still trying to be Korey's 'little mommy'. We hear "no, no Korey" quiet often!! She has her blanket that she has to have to sleep with...well, yesterday I was so tired of her draging it around that I put it in the office & shut the door. Then she got upset about something and was wanting her 'nina' (where she got that I have no idea!) She was looking in all the rooms calling "nina, 'mere. 'mere nina.'!" It was so funny and she was so serious about searching for it - that I gave it to her.

I love you!

To all our family & friends! Extra special greetings from Kylie & Korey!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day came a day early at our house! =) Jonathan has to work all day today & he has class tonight so it kinda went unspoken that we would exchange gifts yesterday. I think we still plan to go eat as a family this weekend with some money we got, but we were both too tired to do that last night! Kylie & I had a hard day at Wal-Mart so I wasn't to excited to take her in public again so soon either!

Our day started with going to the Outlet Mall to look for the kids Easter outfits. I was kinda discouraged with what I found (not many clearances!) but then I found this dress at Gymboree and decided it would work. I kinda wanted something more springy but this was on sale and I have an outfit for Korey that kinda matches, so this'll work! I also found these darling ponytail holders to match it!
The kids also got $5.00 each in a Valentine's Day card, so I had fun trying to find them something they needed but was fun at the same time! =) This is Korey's shirt. It was on clearance at Gymboree also for $4.99!!
I found Kylie a pair of summer PJ's for $5.00 at WalMart. She wore them last night & so this morning was posing for me while eating! If you can't see them good, they are light green with pink flowers & the bottoms are all floral print! Very girly!!
This is my present from my honey! Mom & Aunt Sally(and all my other family reading this that is/was in the flower business!!), I can hear you already: "She needs to cut those flowers down!!" Right?? LOL ~ I will today, I just was too tired last night & put them in water!
The kids & I got Jonathan a new bottle of 'Gravity'. Sadly it wasn't a suprise because I couldn't think where in the world they would sell it in WalMart & had to call and ask him where to find it! Oh well!

Ultrasound pictures

Hope you do better at 'seeing' these pictures! I'm not too good but I'm getting better! Jonathan is really good at figuring these out! We were happy everything looked good, even though we are not sure what it is, but its still only 17 weeks so that's kinda young to know.

Sickness strikes again

Friday, Korey started with a low grade fever, so I gave him medicine. It seemed to help for a little bit but then when it wore off, it was higher...and to make a long story short by 11:30 PM it was 102.9, he had no other sympoms except a runny nose. And Kylie had a runny nose & a low grade fever, but hers went away. So, I knew it wasn't just from cutting teeth. We decided to take him to the ER just to get the fever down because we'd done everything we knew to do and it kept getting higher! 6 1/2 hours later we were released with a diagonois of "viral illness". I guess we weren't giving him a strong enough dose of meds to get the fever down. He still had a pretty high fever Saturday, but today it seems gone. They both have nasty green/yellow snotty noses now. Jonathan is sick again too. He had a fever over night. So we are home from church today, but we are enjoying listening to Hobe Sound camp online. Hope you all have a great Sunday!!

Our baby ~ and other news

Hi y'all,

What a week we've had! I can't hardly even remember everything that's happened but its been a good busy & we've enjoyed it! Most of it has been spent 'out & about' helping & hanging out with friends. AND enjoying this awesome weather we've been having!

Yesterday, I had my first Dr's appointment for this baby. Everythings great and we have an 'official' due date of July 15th! (A few days later than what I thought but close enough.) The ultrasound tech was not 100% sure what it was so we are telling NO ONE until my next appointment when they do another one to find out for sure!

I also have been enjoying listening to the services this morning at Sea Breeze Camp in Hobe Sound, FL! We are anticiapting hearing our good friend, Marc Sankey preach. Here is the link if you would like to listen in. I'm sure you won't be disappointed! Hobe Sound Bible Church

Jonathan is enjoying his class. He meet a ER Dr team (husband & wife) from Mexico City, MX that is taking the class online and also coming to the U.S. a little bit to join in the class. They have invited Jonathan to come anytime to Mexico City to visit them & work with them. (no, we are not planning to run off to Mexico City anytime soon!!) He was able to give them the phone number of a Holiness missionary in Mexico City! They seemed excited about this as they are trying to educate the Mexican people in CPR and other first aid. And they like to offer this to churches. Please pray with us for this couple that God will use us to reach them.

I'll try to get some new pictures on here sometime today. The camera batteries are dead again. =(

Back to the books!!

I don't usually have time to blog much on the weekends, but this morning we are just chillin' so I wanted to write a little bit!

Please keep us all in your prayers. Starting Tuesday evening, Jonathan is back in school. This time for his EMT Basic certificiation. He was going to wait until he could take it though the local college but this class opened up and I think it should be shorter. Its going to be an adjustment for us all though. On Tuesdays, the kids probably won't see him at all, and some of the other days he might have to work later to make up some hours. We will make it though since its only til April! yeah!! This will give him more knowledge and training that will be awesome when we go to Mexico! And since we are still in the US, we feel we must take advantage of all the opportunities that God brings out way to better ourselves for His work!

Knowing this, I got inspired yesterday to get my Spanish books out again too. =) I'm ready for the last check-up, self-test & final test in the 3rd PACE! I'm hoping to get most of that done this morning while its still a little quiet here! I only have 9 more to go & I'm gonna work toward the goal of having them done by the time Jonathan is done with his class! I'm almost scared to say that in public but oh well! At least I'll be accountable somewhere! =)

We have very tentitive plans today! Auntie Anne's is giving out free pretzels for their 20th birthday!! Kylie & I LOVE Auntie Anne's!!! And I also have some good coupons that run out soon for Carter's & Children's Place ~ SO, we might go to the outlets! We havn't been there since November when my mother-in-law & Sarah were here! =( And we have some more sorting & organizing to do in the garage! We bought several more totes last night to store some supplies for Mexico in so that bugs & critters can't get in them while its in our storage shed!

We'll see how our day really goes, but most of all we are looking forward to a relaxing & fun weekend together!!
