First Aid Kit Project

One thing we'd really like to do is to be able to give first aid kits to all the people in Mexico when they attend our classes. That way they have some materials to go along with their new knowledge. Several weeks ago we were at the God's Missionary Church in Spring Mills, PA with Bro. Gabriel Morley and the children's Sunday School class gave us a special offering they had been saving. We wanted to do something special with it, so we put it towards this project. The other day we went to Walmart and were able to get 2 big first aid kits and 10 small ones. Thank you children, so much!!

On a date with Daddy

On Saturday, Jonathan took Kylie on a date! They went to Harbor Freight to look at tools, and then to get oil for the truck! =) She was so proud that she was the ONLY one going with daddy! =) Next time its MY turn! =)

Father's Day

Father's Day was a little crazy and to be honest I didn't even think about taking a picture of Jonathan with the kids. We went to church here in Johnstown, so we could be with my dad, but ended up leaving after a hurried lunch to make it to Greenfield, Oh for our evening service. Hopefully this week we'll have some time for pictures!
Jonathan opening his card & gifts (an air freshner for the truck and gummy worms, oh, by the way, he had to share that part with the kids!) from the kids Saturday night!

Daddy opening his card. We got him a church joke book (if you know my dad, you know he'll loves this) and a card! =)

Kamryn is 11 months!

Its been months since I've had any nice pictures of the kids, and I was going to take them for their birthdays, but didn't have time this week, but Jonathan captured this picture of Kamryn the other day and I thought it was perfect!

God's Promise

Saturday night we were very excited to see a full rainbow and part of a second one from my parents front porch!

Whatever you are going though right now, remember you can claim God's promises to help you though that area of your life!

TWO 2 year olds!

For one day we had TWO 2 year olds!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Kylie!

1st birthday! (This is the youngest picture of her I could find tonight!! Oh what memories!!
Kylie's biggest wish for the past few months has been a 'happy birthday party'! So when we knew we were going to be here in Johnstown around that time, we planned a small birthday party for them! She was so excited!! I seriously can't believe she's 3 already! (going on 18, really!) Baby days are gone, except the diapers are hanging on!! She simply refuses to go on the potty!! =( Oh well....one day I'll be wishing I was still changing diapers! =)

Rope Rescue II Class

This week we came to Johnstown so that Jonathan would be able to take a Rope II Class. He learned all kinds of things that will help him in the mountains of Mexico if he ever needs to resuce someone off a cliff. He enjoyed it a lot and will also get a certificate from Bucks County Community College.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Korey!!

Two years ago today, God gave us a precious little boy! He is such a sweet little man that sometimes has a big attitude!! =) (Guess that comes with the age!) We love you little buddy and hope you have the greatest birthday today!!

Friends

Last week, we were in Columbus, Oh area and decided to go to Marion for the day to a camp meeting. We also got to see my friend Christina & her family. We've been friends since we were teenagers and I was in their wedding in 2000. We saw each other probably once or twice after that, but then they moved out west, in the mean time I got married and moved to Texas, so its probably been about 8 or 9 years since we saw each other. We'd kept in touch though but never had the chance to get together. We had a great visit and had fun catching up!

Visit with Uncle Jeremy & Aunt Mary

May 24th after church we loaded up our trailer and left for the NORTH! We (Jonathan!) drove though the night to Watertown, NY (AKA - middle of nowhere!) to visit our good friends Jeremy & Mary who are stationed there with the US Army. We had a blast! Monday we went to a lake and rode their canoe, then Tuesday, Mary watched Kamryn for us and we took the 2 older kids to Alexandria Bay, NY. Most of all we just had fun hanging out & catching up with them!

Fun with Grandma & David

Grandma Lynn & David got the kids lollipops while we were in NC the last time...enjoy the pics! We even had a blast watching them!

A suprise from Uncle Wesley

A few weeks ago, we had a service at the Linesville Pilgrim Holiness Church in Linesville, PA. We were only about an hour and a half from Wesley. He surprised us and came to our service! I was in the parking lot combing the girls hair and he pulled up and asked Kylie what her name was. I still didn't realize it was him, since I was busy & not paying attention. Then I turned around and realized who it was! He took Kamryn and we walked inside! Kylie & I went and sat down in our seat with Jonathan & Korey. I was waiting for him to ask me where Kamryn was, but he never did. Finally he turned around and saw Wesley in the back! The look on his face was great!! =) We had a fun time of fellowship with the Clarks who pastor the church, Wesley & Ron HighRock after church! Thanks Bro. & Sis. Clark for the food and fun evening!

Becka's graduation party

God's been so good to us these past few weeks, we've been able to spend a lot of time with our families and enjoy events that we'd usually miss! We were able to work Becka's graduation party in Johnstown into our schedule! Everything worked out perfect. All of my mom's sister's were there except for one, and two of her aunts were able to be here.

Spending quality time with Aunt Becka!

I've passed the final test...

...to live in the mountains!! (Just kidding!) But I think I could drive a 4-wheeler now! =) A few weeks ago we were at my mother-in-laws house and David got the 4-wheeler out for us to ride! The kids loved it and then Jonathan showed me how to drive it. ('member, I'm a city-girl!)

Singing!

I was so happy to capture this darling picture of Kylie & Korey singing during a service! They love to sing and usually do it with all theirs hearts! =) This has not been the easiest on them to be sitting in church, and visiting so many different ones, but they love it! Especially Kylie, she gets so excited to get dressed and ready for church! I'm so thankful for her attitude! Its God-given I'm sure!

Graduations!

May 15th the kids & I were able to be at my little sister's college graduation from Hobe Sound Bible College! Congratulations, Becka!
We're just missing Kamryn in this picture, she had fallen asleep while Pam was holding her! By the way, how do you like Korey & my dad's mathing suits!! =)

While we were enjoying the sunny south, Jonathan flew to Cincinatti, Ohio to attend, his little brother, Joe's graduation from God's Bible School.

Becka's Baccalaureate

The 2nd week of May found us traveling to sunny FL for Becka's graduation from Hobe Sound Bible College. We were so privileged to spend Tuesday night of that week with my cousins Pam & Jay in Daytona Beach. They have a great pool and the kids & us had a great time relaxing and unwinding from our long day on the road (and stressful since we passed a bad accident on 95 and Jonathan was one of the 1st people on the scene and the driver had died already. It was an emotional day to say the least. It did make me realize again how short life is and to do my best to do what I can for Jesus and enjoy my family & friends! We got to Hobe Sound Wednesday evening in time to eat quick and get ready for the baccalaureate. It was the only time our whole family would be together, since Jonathan was flying early Friday AM to go to Ohio to attend his brother Joe's graduation from GBS.

At the Beach

While in Hobe Sound we took advantage of an evening and went to the beach to relax a little! It was a fun time & we enjoyed the last evening as a family for awhile.

New fire fighters

Jonathan is still a member of West Hills Fire Department, so he was hanging out one day & I took the kids to see him. They had a great time climbing on the trucks and trying on the gear!

Daddy's helpers

Kylie & Korey were able to 'help' Daddy put in the new transmission!

Also a HUGE thanks to Kevin & Bonnie Wilt for all the things they did for us that week! I failed to get a picture of them & their family, but they were former missionaries to Mexico. Their help & encouragment were such a blessing to us!
