Yesterday, we took the kids to the zoo in Brownsville, finally!!! It was a fun day! We got half way though it & it started raining. We didn't have anything else to do - so we sat under a 'shelter' (one made of straw that leaked) and waited it out. It cleared up some and then started to rain again, but it was still fun! Kylie loved it!! The petting zoo area was her favorite I think. Jonathan took her in because you were not allowed to take strollers, so I stayed with Korey. We didn't get any good pics of her because she kept moving around so much. She went up to the goats & said 'awe' and then petted it. It was funny. Her other favorite thing was monkeys! (We all enjoyed them!!) She would pound on the glass & laugh!!! It was too dark in that area to take pictures, we tried but when I put them on the computer they are really dark. Korey did really good too, he slept most of the time! We ended up being there around 6 hours!

I LOVE the picture of the lion!!! Too cool! I want to go to a zoo. The National Zoo is a couple hours away from us (in DC) & it has free admission. =) Maybe when Magnus gets a bit older. He already loves looking at (& petting!) animals though.
