Another crazy week!

Hey! Sorry its been so long again since I posted. I've been pretty busy just with life. :-) The other night, I got to go out alone (just to Wal-Mart) but it was very nice! Jonathan was working on the 4-Runner & Kylie got to 'help' him. She was teething on a wrench!! When I got home he had the 2 kids & the dog out for a walk! Everyone looked very happy!! I was gonna run inside to get the camera but he didn't think it was picture worthy! (Probably because he knew it would end up on here!) Kylie is just turning into a VERY busy little girl! No more playing quietly in her pack n' play! Its all over the house & into everything! Korey is improving his people skills! :-) He smiles now when you talk to him & today I noticed that he followed me with his eyes. We were going to the zoo today but then it started to look like rain...so we didn't. I went to the grocery store & then later Kylie & I went to Dollar General because I forgot a few things. I bought her a soft ball because she figured out how to throw her hard ball & does it all the time in the house. So I had to put away the hard ball. She is becoming so grown up. She walked though the store with me & held her ball. Well, its time to go to bed...oh by the way -- Korey slept from 12:30AM-7AM last night! It would have been a perfect nights sleep except Kylie is cutting teeth, & was up at 5!! Oh well -- these days (nights) will soon be past - I'm trying to 'enjoy the moments!' She's been brushing her teeth for quite some time, but I always forgot to take pictures of her! She loves to do it & gets upset when I take it from her!

My week

Good afternoon,
I'm sure alot of you thought something happened to me, but I just havn't had the time this week to be on here. I'll give you a quick recap of our week. Tuesday the kids & I went to the outlet mall! It was so fun. I found both of them an outfit really cheap (less than $10 each) & I also found Jonathan a shirt to match one I bought for Korey for our family Christmas pictures. I was pretty excited about that. Wednesday we just chilled. Kylie was having some attitude problems that made my day not so wonderful. Jonathan came home from work with a migraine headache so we didn't do anything Wednseday evening. We were gonna go to this one Mexican resurant here b/c we have a coupon that's for buy one - get one free & Wednesdays from 4-8 you can get a free kids meal. So all of us could have eating for like $7! Thursday Jonathan was off, but it rained most of the day so we just hung out here until about 3 or 4 o'clock & then went to the mall in Harligen. Yesterday we cleaned out the shed! I bought 18 gallon tots at Walmart & organized the kids clothes by size. And took 4 or 5 garbage bags of clothes to the Thrift Store, and I have 6 Walmart bags of clothes for 2 friends of mine. And they still have tons of clothes!!! We both felt alot better getting rid of that stuff & getting the shed orgainzed at least a little bit.

She's really not drinking out of here. :-) It was empty & she was playing w/ it.!!

These are from this week, I finally have the time, or took the time to put them on here. He'll be two months on Sunday & I can't believe how time is flying by!! He's starting to finally get more alert & smiles at us when we talk to him. Kylie is still a great big sister, thankfully. :-) She's all into tickling him now. My parents tickled her alot in PA & when they'd do it they would say, tickle, tickle. :-) She will tickle anyone - anywhere...and say, ticka, ticka!!! Of course, Korey loves it!!! Gotta run, I have a WIC appointment this morning & daddy gets to babysit the two little darlings! We also have a busy day planned to try & somewhat prepare for Hurricane Dean, if he decides to pay us a visit!

CAUGHT!!

Yesterday, I put Kylie in her highchair to eat some ceral for a snack & I was busy doing somethings. When I went to check on her, she had this big rice krispy treat in her hand. The pan was on the table & she helped herself to the last one!! Her expression was so funny when I found her with it I had to grab the camera!!

No Rain, No Tropical Storm! YEAH!!! Well, it still might rain some but they are not expecting too much! Yesterday they were calling for 3-5 inches! The Tropical Storm Erin landed 25 miles northeast of Corpus Christi, which is about 3 hours north of here. If you want to check the weather for here, go to www.nws.noaa.gov .

I finally got Korey to Sears yesterday to get some professional pictures taken! I've already failed in this area. I got Kylie's taken every month & I already missed Korey's 1st month. :-( But I promise never to let it happen again!! LOL

Adventure!!

Why does some things you try to do have so much adventure to go along with them! I'm not like my sister, who just has adventure come to her & I certainly don't go looking for it but last night we had a night full of adventure!

Jonathan & I had been wanting to go to the Island since we got back from PA, but wasn't sure we were going to go yesterday. Then Jeremy called & said they were planning to go & we should all go together. (Their cousin, Rachel was here visiting from Mexico & they wanted to take her.) We decided not to take Korey because I wanted to be able to spend time playing with Kylie in the water, so I called my wonderful new babysitter, Maria & she graciously said she would come over! We were just 15 minutes out when we saw a tractor trailer turned over on the frontage road. There was not any EMS on site so Jonathan had to stop. The guy just had some broken bones it seemed & EMS came in just a few minutes so we were on our way again. Then we were on the bridge going to the Island when all the cars in front of us stopped. I yelled for Jonathan to stop & thankfully he did just in time. We were inches from hitting the car in front of us...but while were stopping we heard screeching tires (I thought it was US!) but it was the car behind us! Who then hit us from behind. It didn't hurt our truck at all, but they called the police & wouldn't you know we were just a little ways between the Port Isabel area & South Padre Island area so we had to wait for the DPS (State Trooper) officer to come. We spent about an hour or so there. We then got to the beach finally & everyone had a great time! We got to pull two cars out of the sand where they got stuck! Ate supper quick & then started back across the bridge...which took about 30 minutes because it was so crowded! Finally we made it home around 11:45 PM! There was also a restruant fire on the island too. We passed it on our way back home...what a night!

Home again!

We are home! I was so glad to get back :-) Most of all I missed Jonathan! Seeing my family was great & I enjoyed my time there but I was ready to get back to my routine! When I got home Jonathan had the house totally cleaned, except a few dishes! He did all the laundry, and had it folded & put away!! He even painted the outside of our trailer! It looks much better. :-) I don't have any pictures to post because my memory card is in Jeremy's computer & the batteries are dead for the camera right now. Korey had his 6 week check up yesterday! He weighs 9 lbs. 10 oz. and is 22 1/2 inches long. He got 3 shots but did real good with them. He wasn't even really fussy the rest of the day! I need to go get a few things finished up & get supper organized before Jonathan gets home from work -- I have lots more pictures to post from the trip when I get my card! :-)

The weekend

Hi. This weekend has been very busy but very fun. Yesterday alot of my family was here on my mom's side. In fact, all her sisters were here! It was the first time in a while they were all together that I know of. We laughed a lot & tooks some pictures. I had a BIG suprise!! My brother in law, Joseph came to see us!!! He called me about 30 minutes before he showed up & was just talking like normal. He asked me what I was doing & I told him I was at a big family party that he was invited too, but didn't come to. A little while later Jeremy came in the house & told me someone wanted to see me. All our family was invited so I thought, no big deal...so I go out there & saw the truck (which used to be ours) parked on the road...I was like, "No way..." and then he came around the side of the house!!! Wesley also came to see us from Ohio, but we knew he was coming! We had a fun night. I need to go now though, Korey is crying...

Here are a few more pictures from the week. Yesterday we didn't do a whole lot of anything. :-) It was great to just relax! We went to a few yard sales in the morning & the mall in the afternoon, ate supper & then Jeremy & Becka went to a Shakespeare play in the park. (They are really neat, Jonathan & I went to a few of them when we lived here.) I went to Goodwill & then mom & I took the kids to see a few of the neighbours. Busy days

The past 2 days have been very busy. We flew out of San Antonio at 8:55AM yesterday morning. Jeremy came along to visit my sister Becka. It was nice to have his help with the kids on the plane. All the flights went good & we got to Johnstown around 8:30 last night. Today was also very busy. :-) This morning Lynne Nevseta came to visit for awhile. It was great to see her again & hopefully we'll get to see the rest of the family soon! This afternoon we went to Alum Bank & visited Gravity Hill, a covered bridge, & Bedford Springs Resort. Then ate supper at "The Cow" (a small food stand but with great memories!) After church, I came home & left the kids with my mom & Becka, Jeremy & I went to Rey Azteca for a snack! Wonderful cheese dip & chips. It was a fun busy day! Tomorrow we are planning to visit the Flight 93 Memorial & then visit with some friends. I'll try to get more pics on here then!
