Becka's Baccalaureate

The 2nd week of May found us traveling to sunny FL for Becka's graduation from Hobe Sound Bible College. We were so privileged to spend Tuesday night of that week with my cousins Pam & Jay in Daytona Beach. They have a great pool and the kids & us had a great time relaxing and unwinding from our long day on the road (and stressful since we passed a bad accident on 95 and Jonathan was one of the 1st people on the scene and the driver had died already. It was an emotional day to say the least. It did make me realize again how short life is and to do my best to do what I can for Jesus and enjoy my family & friends! We got to Hobe Sound Wednesday evening in time to eat quick and get ready for the baccalaureate. It was the only time our whole family would be together, since Jonathan was flying early Friday AM to go to Ohio to attend his brother Joe's graduation from GBS.

At the Beach

While in Hobe Sound we took advantage of an evening and went to the beach to relax a little! It was a fun time & we enjoyed the last evening as a family for awhile.

New fire fighters

Jonathan is still a member of West Hills Fire Department, so he was hanging out one day & I took the kids to see him. They had a great time climbing on the trucks and trying on the gear!

Daddy's helpers

Kylie & Korey were able to 'help' Daddy put in the new transmission!

Also a HUGE thanks to Kevin & Bonnie Wilt for all the things they did for us that week! I failed to get a picture of them & their family, but they were former missionaries to Mexico. Their help & encouragment were such a blessing to us!

Visiting Uncle Joe at GBS

Here's the beginning of where I need to start catching up this blog! This was the middle of April! (As I hang my head in shame!) The week were in Springfield, Ohio getting our new transmission put in our truck, was the week of IHC in Dayton, we were not able to attend that event, but Friday after the truck was all put back together we were able to take a quick trip to GBS and see Joe for about an hour.
